Samuel Construction (Bristol) Ltd was founded in 1996. Our first major project was the conversion of two barns in Bristol.

We handled the complete project from start to finish. This required the sourcing of all materials, including many reclaimed and specialised but also the management of many building tradesmen including groundworkers, stonemasons, carperters, electricians, plumbers, etc.

Since then Samuel Construction (Bristol) Ltd have undertaken many sizable projects including 'new build'.

We have also completed Several conversions of large properties into flats as well as Commercial shop / restaurant refits around the UK.

Locally, especially in and around Bristol we have completed numerous domestic house extensions, loft conversions and rennovations.

Employed are a small team of general builders covering carpentry, plastering, general building and roofing. We also have built up a selection of reliable contacts and sub-contractors, that we regularly use. These include steelworkers, kitchen fitters, tilers, plumbers, electricans, brickpavers and landscapers.

Samuel Contruction are also teamed with several local companies, these include:

  • Apple Joinery who supply quality bespoke joinery such as hand made bifolding doors,
  • SC Kitchens who supply and fit bespoke kitchens, bathrooms and fitted furniture.
  • Online Heating and Bathrooms suppliers of heating boilers, underfloor heating systems, bathroom suites, showers, etc.
  • More recently Samuel Construction (Bristol) Ltd have secured a good working relationship with local architects DittrichHudsonVasetti who are based in Bishopston, Bristol. Together we carry out some smaller but interesting projects, these include an extension on a grade 2 listed property in Clifton, specialist waterproof tanking to a basement in Cotham and a stone built extention in Abbotts Leigh.

These are just a few of the current ongoing projects.

All the above projects have been designed using modern materials and techniques, involving different types of heating and lighting systems, Natural materials including grass, limestone, hardwoods and oak. Roof coverings have included grass sedum, lead and zinc as well as single ply and traditional tile and slate.
